United Health Care
United Healthcare is the market's largest supporter in food access programming, specifically through their support of the market's EBT program. Their mission of helping people live healthier lives aligns with the market's vision of helping to connect community members with delicious, local food.
The Food Group
Every summer, local nonprofit The Food Group arrives at the market on Sundays to take home excess produce from market vendors. They box and inventory hundreds of pounds every Sunday, then redistribute to community members in need of fresh, local produce. In 2024 alone, their volunteers collected around 19,000 pounds of produce from the market!
University of Minnesota Master Gardeners
At the beginning of every market season, master gardeners from the University of Minnesota volunteer to answer questions and offer resources from market customers. From the flower-curious to the experienced vegetable growers, each master gardener offers support drawing upon their own diverse experiences.
Market Partners
At the Minneapolis Farmers Market, we pride ourselves on our strong community of market partners.
Our partnerships with other organizations ensure that our programs best serve our local communities.
