Market Talk: Saturday, October 22, 10:30 a.m.Marty Bergland has had an impressive career as both University professor and practicing psychologist. Though currently retired from academia, she continues to be a life-long teacher in her hobbies, which include cooking and gardening. In addition to giving market talks several times throughout our season, Marty teaches gardening classes through the MN Horticultural Society. She was one of the first graduates of the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum Gardening School and has been a master gardener for over 10 years! Marty has authored several cookbooks, which include incredibly helpful tips on growing, preserving, drying, and of course cooking with MN produce. Whether you are new to gardening, or looking for new ideas to maximize the use of your market produce, Marty is happy to share her tips with you!
